So my youngest Child, Dylan James Jones turned 12 and wanted to come along and select songs he really digs to help him celebrate his Birthday and folks let me tell ya, I think he did really good! Experience Beatlemania through the ears of a 12 year old who loves all kinds of music, add 1 eccentric father and radio studio and a Magical Mystery Tour takes place thrusting every listener through the Beatle Years and Beyond.... the 1st hour was a breeze for him to select tracks and the 2nd hour was challenged yet very productive with the Solo Catalog. So brace yourselves and Enjoy... Happy Birthday my son.

Here is Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band from June 16, 2012 in Mohegan Sun-Uncasville, CT. All-Star veteran, Todd Rundgren, was true to his normal silly form and performed his 3 best songs, “Hello It's Me”, “Bang the Drum All Day”, and “I Saw the Light.” Greg Rolie, the lead singer from Santana, sang such great hits as “Evil Ways” and “Black Magic Woman.” Another All-Star veteran, Richard Page from Mr. Mister, sang “Kyrie” and “Broken Wings” which sounded surprisingly great. What a voice. The performance of these songs sounded just like the recording! And Steve Lukather, lead singer and lead guitarist from Toto was just awesome. Hearing his hits such as “Rosanna”, “Africa”, and “Hold the Line” live was incredible. Also, saxophonist and all around musician Mark Rivera did well yet again as an All-Star Member. The only low point (if you can call it that) or run to the washroom break moment was Page’s new song “You Are Mine” which he sang and personally thanked Ringo for allowing him to sing during this tour. All of the other songs were well known hits that the crowd just loved. After Ringo’s All British All-Star Band lineup which included Frampton, Bruce, Brooker, etc from the 1997 tour, this was probably the second best show from all of the ASB lineups yet. Hopefully many of you have attended or will attend a concert from this tour. I am really glad that I went. I did however, become a little verklempt at the end of the show knowing that this may be the last time that I get to see Ringo perform live. Ringo Starr celebrates his 72nd Birthday and keep himself extremely busy with touring with his All Star Band… Yet Ringo Starr as a Beatle was a mere 8 years and his Solo Career to follow continues to this day. His music through the years has touch our hearts and brought together many of his friends, whom we know and Love as well… John Lennon, George Harrison, and Paul McCartney along with the cast of characters such as Harry Nielson, Keith Moon,and many way to many to list… I have put together just a slice of Ringo for ya that is off the beaten path most others take… curious? Then let’s go on a Magical Mystery Tour where today we experience all things Ringo Starr!!! This is the version that I wanted to release, but as fate would have it, I issued the other version I was messing about with... Enjoy Tourists!!!
